Welcome to tomoisArt, I am a British artist living in Cyprus.
- Born in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1960 I grew up on council estates in Byker and Newbiggin hall and spending time in a childrens home in Morpeth. I joined the British in 1980 leaving after 11 years to pursue a career in the oil & gas industry spending 27 years offshore. Within this time period I discovered a passion for art and attended Liverpool Art College where i studied art & design. In 2013 I moved to Cyprus where I studied under Nicholas Panayi’s Art School in Nicosia.
- My artistic influences are drawn from my childhood, British Army & the Oil industry.
Painting gives me a fullness, I want the eye of the beholder to love and examine my artwork. I am abstract and my art exists in thought
